Purpose and sponsorship
This demonstration was prepared for the National Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers (NAFEC) and its Texas counterpart, TAFEC. The proposed portal serves patients, caregivers, employers, provider teams and people researching access to emergency care. Public ownership, funding and coalition participation have not yet been confirmed. It is not presented as a government service or an independent regulator.
What the tools do.
They help prepare an issue-specific complaint packet, identify hardship-related records and follow-up questions, compare defined fee calculations and explore a sample regional map. They do not make clinical decisions, adjudicate claims or file complaints.
Transparency and corrections.
Official sources are linked where relevant. Sample records and demonstration guidance are labeled. A verified public source is not the same as approved legal guidance. If something needs correction, prepare a local inquiry through the contact page.
